Deflection

When Mr. Bingley and  Caroline show up at Pemberly, Elizabeth was so flustered.  With Caroline's high class, it is hard for her to understand what it really means to Elizabeth that Mr. Bingley left her very dear sister, Jane.  Because of the social class difference, it is difficult for each person to understand each others problems.  Additionally, when Caroline started to give Lizzy some grief about the militia leaving, Lizzy does not know how to respond.  However, because she was able to deflect the problem of Wickham, she was able to befriend Georgina even more, for she was going to get married to him.

New Friends

I heard that Georgina and Elizabeth had recently met each other and had a brief conversation.  For such an accomplished girl, she is very shy i hear.  Darcy and her must learn to be more social and learn to show their feelings more readily, for they both will have problems in the future with their peers.  For example, the reason that Elizabeth was not able to accept Darcy's proposal because she was unaware that he even had any feelings for her.  For a person of such high class, he does not have much manners that allow him to show off his social status.

Touring Pemberly

Today, I heard, that Elizabeth toured through Pemberly, but the only reason that she agreed to doing so was because Darcy wasn't home.  She was blown away by the superiority of the place and how nice it was with all of the elegant features that house had.  However, when Darcy all of a sudden showed up, Elizabeth had a sudden rush of emotion.  She could barley even control herself.  At the end of the trip, he told Elizabeth that he would be having guests over later and that is why he really returned, but I keep asking myself, was it really because of that or was it because he heard that Lizzy was there?

Needing to Reconize

Darcy and Elizabeth need to realize that they love each other, for Elizabeth should feel privileged that she could have such a great man admiring her because he has high status and a large fortune.  His affection is the highest compliment to Elizabeth.  Also, they are both trying to play a game of cat mouse-they both pretend to not have feelings while going after each other at the same time-which makes things very difficult to understand from both sides of the story.  The letter was the most obvious sign, and truthfully I could tell from the first day I was introduced to Darcy that he had feelings for Elizabeth, I do not know how, but I had a premonition that a relationship would soon form between the two of them.

What I've Heard

So after Elizabeth left, I was so very happy, for I knew that she would tell everyone in Longborn how happy Charlotte and I are together.  So, in a sense I have had great gratitude towards her.  However, I overheard he saying things like oh poor Charlotte-but why? I later found out that it was not because of anything that had happened to her, but the fact that she had to stay in Hundsford with me! How rude of her to say such a thing to a person who has been so nice and thankful towards her? Also, now I begging to worry that she will say bad things about Charlotte and I's relationship.

Arrival

I just heard news that Elizabeth arrived safe and sound to the welcoming party of Lydia and Kitty.  In my opinion, they are both boy crazy and are too obsessed with men, instead of worrying about other things such as music, reading, and family life.  They need to be more like me: intelligent, social, and a well rounded person.  In life, men are should not be your only concern, for it is just a worldly matter that will pass with time-intelligence is timeless.

Soul Mates

Today Elizabeth and I had a wonderful time together, for we talked and upheld great conversation.  For one thing, I told her how Charlotte are meant to be.  Additionally, not only were we meant to be, but we are soul mates and I love her with all my heart.  I could just not impress upon Elizabeth how much me and Charlotte fit each other so beautifully.  I recommended that she go and tell everyone at Longborn about our wonderful relationship, so everyone there would be able to be put at ease to see that our marriage is working out delightfully.  All I can say is this: I love Charlotte.
