As of today, I heard that Darcy and Elizabeth alongside Jane and Bingley took a long walk. During this walk, Darcy and Elizabeth had a very deep conversation. One of the subjects pertained the embarrassing story of Lydia and Wickham's marriage, and how he was the person who paid off all of the debts and money requests of Wickham. This conversation is not only the complete opposite of how they use to speak, it is nice and friendly, a parallel to the way that Elizabeth use to characterize Darcy. What is in store for their relationship? Marriage? Who knows.
Dinner Schemes
The high and proud Darcy comes with Bingley to dinner with the Bennets, and as usual Mrs. Bennet embarrasses herself to what could be her future sons and law. In addition to embarrassing herself, she is completely oblivious to the fact that Darcy and Elizabeth have been flirty with each other and having a relationship that keeps becoming more and more inmate. When trying to get Bingley and Jane alone, she keeps winking and making a fool of herself, and when Kitty finally notices her strange behavior and calls her out. After this, Mrs. Bennet brings her to the dressing room and does the same thing with Elizabeth to inform her of what she is doing. This only proves the stupidty of Mrs. Bennet, but this was most likely due to the fact that she was in presence of such high class, she was probably nervous. Any low class person would have acted the same.
Arguments
Today Lady Catherine came to visit Elizabeth Bennet. This visit was to inform Lizzy that if Darcy is to propose to her, that she is to say no. In return, Elizabeth responds that she will do nothing to stop the relations of her and Darcy. As a response to Elizabeth's answer, she then says that her daughter and Darcy have an arranged marriage since they were young and that she cannot be the one to split them up. During the extent of the conversation, Elizabeth is not only rude, but also disrespectful to the high Lady Catherine. She should feel ashamed of herself, and should learn her spot in society.
New Newst
Elizabeth and Darcy are engaged! This was such a strange thing for the Bennet family to comprehend because of their past relationship. Jane, her best friend and sister, was even confused when she heard the news, and her father worried that his favorite daughter was marring for money and not love. That was the way that he married, but instead of money, it was for looks. I am impartial to the marriage because the estate is mine with her married or without her married. I just am waiting for the eventual-hopefully not soon- death of Mr.Bennet. To recap the news, Darcy and Elizabeth are being married: who will be at the marvelous wedding?
