Paying Respects
Today I traveled to Rosings to Lady Catherine, when I also saw Darcy and his cousin Colonel Fitzwilliam. I spoke to the lovely Lady Catherine and her beautiful daughter; however, when I left, they both came with me to my parsonage in Hundsford. I introduced them both to Elizabeth and Charlotte, but it was so awkward between Elizabeth because she is obviously jealous of Charlotte and our happiness together. Poor Charlotte so unaware of the jealousy, but I will not ruin the friendship. But if anything, Elizabeth's jealously has brought us closer together.

If this, Mr. Collins, is how you see our relationship, you are more oblivious to the world than I peviously believed. Perhaps the jealousy that you think you are witnessing is my sorrow and sympathy towards my friend due to her embarrassing husband. Charlotte is oblivious to my jealousy because it does not exist, except for in the strange and twisted world that you are stuck in. Please, for everyone's sake, attempt to get a grip of reality.
Mr. Collins, I am shocked that you have thought myself to be jealous of you and Charlottes relationship. I do not believe I will ever develope jealousy for you, and I will be sure to kill myself before I were to ever let yourself percieve it. I'm sorry you think that I feel that way about you, but please try and get that notion out of your head.. The only feeling I do feel is for Charlotte, and I pity her for having to be near you.
